Wetherby Martial Arts is a Long's Black Belt gyms located in Wetherby. The club started in 2010 at Wetherby town hall but quickly grew out of that location and is now located in the The Engine Shed. The club has grown from strength to strength and is run by two families and has a fantastic family friendly atmosphere. Wetherby Martial currently has around 100 members from 3 years old upwards.
All skill levels are welcome as all of our lessons cover a wide range of skills and exercises aimed to push anyone. Our lessons maily consist of a warm up, technique work, working with a partner or in a group, sparring and cardio based "burn out".

The Engine shed is also used for our quarterly graduation events where members are presented with their next belts. It also give everyone a chance to demonstrate their new skills.
New members are always welcome, but all we ask is you let us know in advance so our instructors have time to plan and prepare for your arrival. To do so, please fill in the free trial form at the bottom of this page and one of our instructors will call you to arrange a suitable time. We do not insist on long term contracts or high joining fees, we simple ask that you purchase your martial arts insurance and training kit after your free trial and pay your rolling monthly fee.
